Install a new power outlet using existing light switch? - convert switched outlet to light switch
I saw a power point + switch front panel, the other day and I am very interested in it works. In essence, it allows me to convert a regular shift to a Powerpoint-son without an addition.

The problem is that it comes with instructions. From the look of it, requires 2 cable sets, 1 concluded that goes to the switch goes, and the other to the exit.
However, there is only 1 set of cables that to the existing light switch. I wonder, it is safe to switch the power light for the takeover? I intend to use the acquisition of a computer.

When I wrote what I knew it was for use in Australia. I'm not the following information to be accurate. The information would be a good thing for the United States.
I do not know know for sure whether it is a neutral switch wiring, must be able to check it out though. Good luck
Could touch the hot wire on the switch, but can not be exported to the neutral switch. You can enabled the hot wire and a hot wire.
When this happens, you need to take food from others, preferably to another wall outlet and connect the cables to the point of power.
Son to see the change now. Have you attached a pair of white son, together with a greenhouse-son? This should be a cap yellow or red for 2 ormore connected white son. These white son not to a switch connected in any way. If yes, then you need here to switch to neutral and can connect the output of the electrical system.

DO NOT DO IT! In general, light and power circuits are separated, the existing cables that are visible, are probably still to work the lights at home, is connected. Light and power circuits son in various sizes, because the amplifiers are designed, and a lighting circuit is not designed, a computer that is connected to it - call a Sparky
